Author Work-Spaces: JT Ellison and Andrew Kaplan

We’ve been asking authors to send us pictures of where they work. This week we have the wonderful J T Ellison and the amazing Andrew Kaplan.

J T Ellison – I love this desk, but in truth. I rarely work at it. All I need is a comfy chair and my MacAir, and I can make the magic anywhere. The two shots are before and after – I had to add more bookshelves because I am constantly running out of space. But there’s a place of honor for Edgar – he watches over me. Him and his vodka bottle.

Andrew Kaplan:
We moved to a condo last year. I actually converted part of our bedroom into a combination office and library. Here are two photos of the office area plus one of me. I tend to work with the blinds closed, open enough to let in light that isn’t glaring, but closed enough so there are no visual distractions from outside. Writing is an interior journey.
