Tonight begins season two of LEVERAGE.

Nate Ford reluctantly reassembles the team to pit the local Irish mob against a banker who is gaming a government bailout. If they survive, Nate has to deal with four thieves who’ve decided he needs them in his life, whether he likes it or not.

Last month, we had a tidbit from TV Guide about tonight’s ep:
finds the gang drawn together by the sound of music. Specifically Sophie’s
appearance in a Boston staging of The Sound of Music that’s so bad one reviewer
says it “made me root for the Nazis.” We’re also treated to the spectacle of
Nate’s latest crusade almost falling into his lap but instead flipping over and
bursting into flame in front of him. Need more incentive to tune in? Parker
dresses as a nun with a garter.

In an interview with TV Guide, Timothy Hutton stated that season two will see the nastier, more vindictive side of his charater. That and he now lives over a bar. Keep in mind that his character has just recently stopped drinking.

While I have had some issues with the writing, LEVERAGE is damn fun and each actor seems to really enjoy their character. It is not high drama, but instead an enjoyable popcorn show.
The Rap Sheet has an interview with LEVERAGE Producer John Rogers.

Leverage airs on TNT at 10pm EST.
